Why is the game sometimes unresponsive to touches?

The game actually recognizes all touches. The problem is that a delay timer is started after each touch to the game board. The delay was added to prohibit touches from overwhelming the board. Simply wait about a second between touches (to the gameboard) for the delay to clear. We're looking into ways to elminate this delay for our next release of the game.
